HVK Consulting has extensive experience in all facets of civil engineering. The director and associates are well experienced in the civil, structural engineering and project management disciplines, ranging from the provision of services for township development and upgrading of roads and services to the provision of normal and specialist structural services. With the director of the company having both construction and design experience.
During the early stages of the practice, we relied entirely on the private sector and community for work. Our aim is to continue providing skills to students in the new South Africa without discrimination. We have completed a considerable amount of work in a very competitive field where cost control is most critical. Our success in working within a restricted market is due to the confidence of our clients and our determination to succeed.

Background
Yegan Pillay is the director of HVK Consulting Engineers and has gained excellent experience by working with Group 5 and thereafter under the supervision of Ahmed Vawda from Vawda Engineers. He is a young, diligent, passionate and dedicated Structural engineer who believes that the duty of an engineer is to never compromise the integrity of any structure and at the same time design a structure that is cost effective.
Infrastructure
It is company policy that every project is the responsibility of a registered professional engineer who is actively involved in all aspects of the project. The permanent staff are fully trained and the company is up to date with the latest technology including software and hardware. The practice is fully computerized using the Full AEC Collection,
namely Revit,Infraworks, Navisworks, Autocad, Civil 3D and Prokon.

In addition, we have also been involved in training and development, assisting unemployed learners to acquire skills that will assist them in finding employment.
